Situated in the tiny hamlet of Kemyel Wartha in an area designated of outstanding natural beauty, high on the cliffs above Lamorna Cove in Mounts Bay. We offer both styles of acccomodation including Self Catering and Self Contained Bed and Breakfast units.

The Stables Cottage Accomodation and The Dairy Bed and Breakfast Suite are two beautifully converted 18th Century Barns.

Built from the granite quarried locally in Lamorna Cove shown on the ariel photograph on the right. The cottages now with timber double glazed windows and slate roofs have been renovated to our own exacting standards thoughtfully and symphathetically  whilst keeping thier original charm and character.

Both properties have been Interior designed to a high standard and fitted out with quality furnishings, fixtures and fittings. The result being luxury accomodation at  really affordable prices.

The Stables Holiday Cottage Accomodation Quality 4 star rated and being the first of the four cottages on the hamlet and is situated right on the coastal path, making it the perfect place to relax, enjoy and explore the beautiful West Penwith area of South West Cornwall. Open fields surround the cottage and garden with private secure parking for cars, trailers and boats.

Open timber beams, pine floors, exposed granite walls and re-claimed slate window cills salvaged from the original animal feeders, all add to its charm.  Once a former stable block and dairy incorporated into a working dairy farm until production stopped in the mid 90's. Totally converted in 2003 into a beautiful smallholding holiday retreat and being completely redecorated and overhauled at the start of each new holiday season and maintained thoughgout. The Stables and The Dairy are two very comfortable properties gaining sea and rural views spanning Mounts Bay from Lamorna Cove to the tip of the Lizard peninsula, the lighthouse and beyond.

The Dairy Bed and Breakfast Suite is a luxury 5 Star Rated self contained unit with a four poster bed, en-suite bathroom and fantastic sea views. It has its own private entrance, garden and parking. This is B&B at its best,  a real gem to discover in a beautiful secluded and rural spot, an ideal getaway from it all for a romantic short break, a weeks stay or longer.

Please note! - The Stables and The Dairy are both non-smoking and pet free cottages.

The tiny hamlet of Kemyel Wartha is accessed via a private track and surrounded by open countryside leading down to the sea with no near main roads or any light pollution and is very safe for children.
Within our complex we have our own stabling and enclosures housing a host of farm animals including a variety of chickens, guinea foul, ducks, geese, pygmy goats and ponies. A grassy paddock is also available to visitors at The Stables for kite flying , picnics and ball games and includes a childrens play area for all to enjoy.


With our own Kemyel Cream Tea Garden overlooking the paddock, play area and the sea you may wish to relax and enjoy one of our home made cream teas whilst the children are happliy playing.
A very tranquil and beautiful location with the added benefit of being close to all amenities. Lots of fresh clean air, beautiful scenery, stunning sea views, adjacent beautiful Lamorna woods, fields, sandy coves and many coastal paths, all to explore at your leisure. Many major attractions in Cornwall are only a short journey away.


Lamorna Cove is only a 15 minute walk away, heading west from the cottage as you meander on the coastal path down through the wooded Lamorna Valley. Once in the Cove you will find a picturesque little harbour with its cafe, restaurant and shop. Another short steep walk up the hill out of the Cove into Lamorna Village you will stumble across the famous "Lamorna Wink" Inn. The lovely historic fishing village of Mousehole with its quaint harbour and small beach are also in close proximity and within walking distance heading east on the coastal path. Whilst here you will find a selection of souvineer shops, cafe's, restaurants, art galleries and craft exhibitions and the local pub/restaurant overlooking the harbour.
